My sad family cancelled Thanksgiving. 9 yo daughter sad ok, let's go feed the homeless instead. Looking around our 2 counties and all such opportunities are on every other day of next week except Thanksgiving and it's the only day I have off. Unless I want to take her to the hood after dark. I'm failing all around trying to give her day some meaning so she can forget her sad for a day. NE OH ideas for turkey day fun anyone? Wish I had had more notice and we could have gone further.
