@ToolPackinMama I considered one of my primary jobs as a parent to do what I call filtering the generational madness. I consciously made an effort to not kneejerk the same behavior I was programmed with as a kid. I remembered what it felt like to be on the receiving end. Both my kids are young adults now and seem to be doing OK.
@ToolPackinMama Its good to be reminded of this. Learning to let myself off the hook was empowering.
