It's possible that I won't make it through the whole thing. I will be spinning at my wheel, which can take the edge off just about anything. The possibility of a heart attack on live TV did cross my mind.

I get it. I mean, if Trump has a stroke on live TV, I'll regret that I missed it. Other than that, seeing his face takes too big a toll on my mental health.
@TomeReader I'm going to an oldtime jam instead. I sorta want to see Joe mop the floor with TFG, but I can wait for the highlights reel.
As for the fundamental reason for having the debate, to compare the two candidates, that ship sailed a long time ago. The problem with TFG isn't just his positions, though they're bad enough; it's that the record shows he's a lying narcissistic idiot, unfit for any office.

Me personally, I want to see what happens first hand. I'm sure there will be some regret with that, and can absolutely understand those who plan not to watch. It's all pretty miserable.
