Wanted to give the update to everyone that actually curious on what happened at bank

They denied it UNLESS I get a cosigner or reapply in September when I officially start new job even though they got proof I was hired . Keep in mind. Ive had 3 auto loans, 2 consolidation loans all paid 1-2 years Early over the last 20 years. I also have enough in my savings to cover 8 months of payments. Add 2 the fact, they give a 30 day grace, which makes 1st payment 8/25 w/ first pay check being 9/20!

@DianeH and that's the thing. As long as they do the job and do the right thing that's all that matters. I didnt care much for Biden (I'm a Sanders guy) but I voted for him when it came down to things because I know he'll at least try to do the right thing at the end of the day. Harris same way in think her intent is in right place but her personality, I dunno, sometimes it feels like she's talking down (maybe it's just me) but again I think she'll try to get done what she promises

I know what I'm looking for but I dont want to get my heart set on something to find out they won't finance that amount

So my bank is messing with me. I go in Monday for a pre-approval since I need to know how much I'll be allowed on a car before I start going in deep. Well I've been out of work since May BUT I start new job in September. There was a slight issue on my end and where I'm goings end which stopped me from working the summer. so bank calls me yesterday for proof of employment that I'll actually have job in September which I dropped off 5 min after they called. So that said I was supposed to know

@singlemaltgirl but yea every car I've owned has been at a min 7-10 years old before I got my hands on it. So I'm like lemme invest in something current and hopefully only had one owner other than me

@singlemaltgirl I would absolutely love a rav 4. But cheapest one around me is close to 37k. And I'm still saving up for a decent house so it's like. Nope I'll get something close to what I'm looking for and won't mind being married to for next 7 years. If I had unlimited funds I know exactly what id get 😂

@Ruthat don't get me wrong when the Tiguan is on the road it's runs fantastic, minus the 3 times it died out on the thruway and was about 2500 in repairs each time . Luckily the insurance I had covered it. But same issue 3x. Plus I replaced a sensor last year same sensor this year. I'm like lemme trade it in to get something rather than dying and sending it to junkyard

@singlemaltgirl the Tucson was 25k for a 2022. My bank pre-approv for 24. So it's def gonna have to stay on road more. I tend to go after cars 10+ years old but I'm like I need a car to last me 10 years. That would be swell lol

@evamarie that's my thinking too and with my luck if I went full electric that's exactly would happen 🤣 I have a penchant for finding obscure places 😂
