If the great satan known as Nirvana didn't bring in grunge and kill off hair metal , would the outcome have been different. I'm not saying other genres would have come but would HM have taken the hiatus that it did. Gotta remember these bands are finally coming back after 30 years to massive popularity. Tesla released new music, la Guns is still cranking away, skid row sounds the best they've been since 96

@Timmah1979 @rpardee cock rock was dying well before grunge came along.
Record companies killed it by making good rock bands into hair metal.
They then did the same with good rock turning them into shitty grunge bands with ballads.
True metal never died. It just bid it's time.
