@Shadow298 did I go about this backwards on parts of map I opened up. Just got one more part of map and that's the section everyone keeps talking about π
@Timmah1979 It's all designed to be taken in whatever fashion you feel like, so there isn't a wrong way to unlock the map or do shrines.
My habit is to explore as much as possible & unlock all of the towers to find more stuff. Main story tends to simmer a long time for me.
@Shadow298 well everyone keeps talking about "Rito village" I'm like I haven't even gotten to that section yet and I'm 40 hours in. I just opened the gazette today π. I'm not trying to rush it but the way everyone's going on it I'm trying to stay away from someone ruining the ending. So very least I'm trying to keep up lol
@Timmah1979 It's a game you can take your time with.
Had a friend who did the Zora section first because it's what she found, didn't affect the rest of the game for her.
Am honestly surprised there aren't big memes about the end but am glad people are focusing on the stupid stuff first, so nothing has been spoilt for me.
@Shadow298 yeah that's my only concern. I got 3 or 4 friends also playing it and they're running off the mouth about it and I'm doing my best to stay away from spoilers. And fact people are already beating it less then a month after release someone's gonna ruin it before I get to the end. I wish I had that kind of time on my hands π
@Shadow298 well I'm old school (sure you are too) enjoy the game first then after you beat it then go for the records
@Shadow298 see I'm a bit different. I don't exactly burn out on games. But if they sit for a period of time I don't go back to them.
@Shadow298 it also usually depends on how I'm enjoying the game
Great example is Witcher 3. That's all I played til finish. Main story is done but taking a break now because I did get the DLC and 5 months straight was a bit much
But then ya look at dragon age 2 (worst in the series imo) the cussing got so bad half way through that I never finished it.
This I'm gonna split in sections. Now maps open gonna do some side quests. Then go to Bayonetta 3 because she's like a gf scorned right now
@Timmah1979 I need to finish Bayonetta 3 as well. Got it when it came out because a shop did a sudden temporary sale on it, got a bit into it but never got back to it because of pain in my hands ruining my reflexes (pain is still there but a bit more manageable now).
But have too many other games to finish & too many distractions in life.
@Shadow298 same. GameStop had a b1 g1 sale going. And I didn't realize TotK was coming out following week π
@Timmah1979 I don't bother to go for records or full completions. Usually don't finish games because burn out on them badly, which is why am taking my time with this one.
Took me 6 years to finish BotW because got near the end & burn out happened (plus the controls shat me).
