@northernbassist Ultimately I ended up purchasing the Fluance RT82 and I added the pre-amp.

I spent the rest of last night and all this morning researching the 3 models I narrowed it down to and ultimately the RT82 won out.

Question for the audiophiles.

I currently have a very inexpensive entry level turntable and I'm considering upgrading to a direct drive unit.

Is brand new better than bargain hunting for a refurbished older/vintage unit?

I ask because there is a shop nearby with a Sony PS-X5 Direct Drive Turntable *
Steel Plinth * Ortofon OM10 Cartridge for $350. Or a brand new Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB-BK Direct-Drive for $279-$329?

Where was my dedication and discipline when I was younger??? Well, there is no reason not to get in the best shape of my life pre-50's.

18 days off from Muay Thai, tonight was my first day back and I took a double class. I'm just built different. I also didn't die. 🤙💪♥️

So I got myself a gravel bike. Mrs. Prime is getting one Friday. She wants to do this charity ride in the spring from Philly to AC. I am not going to let her ride it alone!! It's only 62 Miles?!?!?!

I have felt guilty every day I missed during my 14 day recovery.

Back at it tomorrow.

(I had a prepreprepre cancerous mole removed from my back with a 2 inch incision and stitches - I'm fine)
