I was not happy with my 1st 4hrs of Baldurs Gate 3 or my initial character. So what does any unhappy gamer do? You restart a new character and spend 2 hrs making said new character. But overall this play through is starting off better. Going with a wizard this time.
@ThrasherPrime Nothing wrong with that. Was it your race and background you werent feeling or was it just the class you chose?

@MgBarbatos It was the class I choose. I was a Monk and it was just not fun from a skills perspective. The wizard has been more rewarding so far. I also spent time making my character look cool, IMO. The 1st time I just did whatever to get into the game. If that makes sense.

@ThrasherPrime it makes sense, monk can be a bit technical for those new to dnd.
If you haven't discovered yet, wizards get spells when they lvl up but they can get more spells by learning scrolls - that costs money though to make sure to save any scrolls you want to learn.
If you end up not feeling wizard but like your character, keep in mind you can change your class at anytime in game with withers. (costs 100g) But you can change as often as you like. 🙂
