For an anxious doggo, MonyMony is handling the multiple moving boxes piling up pretty well. That may change once furniture starts going to storage too. Any suggestions for helping calm a dog in the midst of a move? We’ve been playing Enya for her and giving her lots of cuddles when we stop for a break. #DogsOfCoSo #CoSoDogs
@pennyphilosophy Thanks! ❤️
@TheRealDelia sweet pup. Scotties can get wound up, huh?
@TheRealDelia Oh my doG, is she cute. Fresh water with drops (please follow directions on box) of Rescue Remedy for pets.
We have an anxious GSD/Husky. She's very "Sheldon" - things out of place, moving, boxes, trigger her.
So we tried to save her "safe spaces" for last. No boxes crowding her spots. And during the main move when there was a ton of activity and people, we removed her from the space entirely so she didn't have to see or hear it.
I'm using pheromone spray for my cats to get through the housing selling, moving stress.
I've heard ThunderEase is good for dogs- chamomile & lavendar. Check on Chewy, Amazon, PetSmart- they have calming collars, spray- some people recommend CBD (in legal states) in a special dose for dogs.
It's interesting, marijuana/CBD does nothing for cats... I think felines will only be CALM when they want to be!
Good luck- Amazon can deliver overnight.
@TheRealDelia bach flower rescue remedy might help
also CBD oil, low dosage
