It's a common observation that in the heated arena of political and social discourse, both sides often resort to exaggeration and propaganda to bolster their arguments and demonize their opponents. This can create a confusing landscape where it's hard to separate fact from fiction and make informed decisions.
In the end, staying true to your moral compass is paramount. If one side consistently exhibits behaviors that contradict your core beliefs, particularly when those behaviors involve egotism, authoritarianism, or a lack of basic human decency, it's entirely justifiable to refuse to align with them, regardless of any other factors at play.

@TheNewsOwl All very well put.
So very true.
Dems are not exempt from manipulating the media. Until we acknowledge neither are correct, misinformation will proliferate.
However, when it comes to choosing a side, personal ethics and values should be the guiding principle. If one side consistently aligns with individuals who display behaviors that fundamentally clash with your sense of right and wrong, it's perfectly reasonable to refuse to support them, irrespective of any propaganda or exaggerations from the other side.
