@TheNewsOwl Iβm definitely a bring it back guy because I donβt want anybody elseβs vehicles being damaged. And if the cart ( sorry Iβm south, the buggy) is in need of repair? I put it to the side and explain to the store that it needs a wheel adjustment.
@MidnightRider π I am bad and tend to straighten the carts up. I always think how the beep are you going to return more carts without them all pouring out into the actual parking lot and get in way of cars.
@TheNewsOwl I always help anyone struggling to separate two because itβs usually the same problem. There are still people shopping older than me so I try to help them out.

@TheNewsOwl I return both my cart, and the other carts people leave shoved in adjacent spaces.
I found it fascinating to learn that in some other countries, you have to pay to release a cart, then get your money back if you return it.

@TheNewsOwl brick and mortar? I vaguely remember that stuff. With the people and the noises and smells.
@TheNewsOwl I have always returned carts. I have also gathered carts nearby and returned them as well. I struggle with it now that my body is aging and protesting so many things. My favorite local grocery is on a bit of a hill and I always have a dilemma: should I park next to cart corrals at the bottom and hike up, or should I park closer to the store so I have less of a trek to go in but when I come out I feel obligated to return the cart to the sidewalk right in front of the store. π€
I always return the cart. Learned the value of burning those calories at old WW meeting. ALWAYS push the cart back.
Plus it makes the store employees soooo happy.

I always feel guilty when my body is telling me not to do it. So I do it. And then I am done for the day. Sometimes all the ibu in the world can't fix that, sadly.
