Wish me luck. I have a counseling type meeting in a few minutes with my Trumper mom and dad going over feelings and such. Dear God be with me so I don't lose my shhhheeeet!
@TheNewsOwl They have feelings? I think I would go with blunt this is what's expected. Best of Luck with the situation.
@Ruthat "Yeah, it didnβt go well. Iβve really been trying. We agreed not to bring up the past because it doesnβt help, but then my mom goes and does exactly that. She tries to play both sides, twisting things with a little barbed wire thrown in. She's more concerned about looking blameless, and
@Ruthat I've become the family scapegoatβeverything's always my fault. If I get upset about it, she just uses that against me even more. Iβm the type to say, 'Just get to the point.' I hate waiting for people to say what I already know theyβre going to say: blame me, then pretend that's not what theyβre doing."
@TheNewsOwl I am the scapegoat family as well. My over it moment was when Grandma told everyone I was a thief at her brother's funeral, still small enough town this will affect getting a job. I'm a lot of things, thief isn't one of them.
@Ruthat It's hard especially when you are a very open type of person. I love being kind ect so it hurts when they push me over the line. It took a lot for me to even come down to PA to help my daughter and try to repair something with them. However all she cares about is her never potentially looking bad or wrong to others. I am a straight forward type person. Hate playing games.
@TheNewsOwl You get to go home and leave all the not so great people playing the gotcha game.
@Ruthat I can't wait β€οΈ
@TheNewsOwl If they're being extra nasty just leave. They're adult they can figure the problem out themselves.
@Ruthat I am just upset and sad at moment and tbh exhausted to point of saying f it. Wth do they want from me?
@Ruthat trying hard to divert mind
@TheNewsOwl I pray you find and hold your zen and then have a nice day afterwards. *hugs*
