Southern Canada is gonna become the new Breadbasket region of NA, and the Midwest will become kinda humid subtropical like the gulf coast and southeastern seaboard.
And the gulf coast will become… i honestly don’t know. Hurricanes and equitorial-level heat.
No idea what will happen with Tornado Alley. Maybe it’ll shift north too, but it also depends on geographic features and wind currents.
@GlytchMeister @TheNewsOwl I think all the droughts in the midwest will make it more like a desert, but I don’t know for sure.
Now would be a great time to buy land in southern Canada to farm!! Georgia peaches are already a thing of the past. They’re trying to grow new strains of peaches, but it’s not going well.
The gulf coast will be under water sooner than we think. It’s such a shame. None of this had to happen.
@GlytchMeister @TheNewsOwl Oops! I did mention the peaches. I think I’m extra upset about that because my bakery makes peach pie and peach cobbler, and Georgia peaches used to be the best.
@TheNewsOwl I’ve thought for a long time that where crops grow will shift dramatically if we didn’t stop global warming, which we refused to do. So, here we are. There won’t be any peaches from Georgia in grocery stores this year because of global warming (I heard that on NPR just last night). It has begun. We were warned.
