Getting closer....99,189!!
Congratulations on this MASSIVE PROJECT and HUGE milestone!! You saw the problem with social media early on and took action...we are grateful for a space to gather where we are not product, but once again people.

@tdotrob You must have a good lathe and steady hand to bore that deep. Nice work!
My advice to the newcomers:
1) check out @CoSoTips or #cosotips
2) check out commonly used hashtags at @realDDGlover βs timeline
3) Introduce yourself
4) watch the firehose & follow those with similar interests (scroll down a tiny bit to stop autofeed)
5) GIVE IT SOME TIME. There is a huge influx from Twitter rn, as you can imagine. Let things settle a bit and then make up your mind. Itβs a bit crazy rn π
6) welcome other newbies!
7) ping me if you need help!
@rmkelly Today was a good day for me as well. Sunny, intense blue sky with yellow and orange leaves gently falling. Spent the afternoon replacing fuel lines, gaskets and spark plug in my Dad's old inherited leaf blower. Started first pull. Couldn't stop smiling. These things are particularly satisfying as a female. Glad my dad understood that mechanical things don't care about gender, they care if you understand small engines. I'll probably end up raking the leaves 'cause that I enjoy that more!
@tdotrob Wow, nice work!
Protip: Don't rely on the Community Firehose to find new followers. It'll make you dizzy!
Just post about the stuff you like, and follow those who like what you like. #CoSoTips
@Parrah Interesting article. Thanks for posting!
new friends, there is a setting called 'ostrich mode' which I had on for my laptop. I remember I turned it on during the last time we were getting such quick growth. If you find there are too many bells and whistles that helps a bit with other things (the banner and other features go away). you can turn it on again later if you want. I'm turning it back on now. :D
@JEErickson You'll get it. Once you get the columns you want pinned, it gets a lot easier. Many new toys here and generous character count changes everything.
@JEErickson Glad you are here. Looking forward to reading your posts.

@dcc I noticed the difference right away too. Met and had some awesome conversations here. #Twitter felt like millions of people yelling into the wind when they weren't scrounging around or begging for followers. That doesn't happen here. People can just be and interact like the normal people we all used to be. Welcome!
In the last several months exactly one person involved with the Twitter madness gave me hope Twitter could be anything other than a dumpster fire.
His name is Parag Agrawal. He was the CEO of Twitter.
Musk's first move was to not only fire Parag Agrawal and two other execs, but he had security perp walk them out.
Musk is a pig of a human.
@JPSCHWEIZER63 Welcome to sanity!

@tiredxennial Look, it's you! Right here. With all of us. Welcome!
@mrbeast Hello to you...welcome!
The best way to engage with an asshat on CounterSocial is to report them immediately and wait for the inevitable
