@TeelaResists Wow. I had just come across a book donated that was about to be tossed but I just could not let that happen, especially not before I had a chance to read it. I had never heard of this woman until that moment. And no matter this books condition, it will never be tossed as long as I am alive.

@TeelaResists Same here! The book is an incredible story and well done to have pulled so much together from an almost completely forgotten history. So many peoples' stories are never told. One of my favorite books is Hidden Figures, which is at least 80% more than what was told ion the movie. Incredibly moving. I will never be able to express enough gratitude or respect for black women all together, every single one. They have contributed so much to our country, our culture, and our souls. ❤️ 🤗
