daughter & sil of close friend own businesses on Main Street including the Broad River Inn. out of state when storm hit. Have only drone footage to go by, everything they have is gone or seriously damaged.
No flood insurance, same with many small businesses.
They are unable to reach his mother but got thru to Police Chief on Sat phone and was told they expect begin search and rescue today. All roads and bridges in and out of Chimney Rock are washed out or undermined.
