Just some states have laws that prevent someone from appearing on the ballot.

Be surprised the number of MAGAs that probably find it too difficult to write in "TRUMP" instead of filling in a circle.

But like The 22nd Amendment, and other laws like the President needs to be 35 years or older. Being Elected doesn't necessarily mean you can take office.
