This soupy flight from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to Philly International was done using xEnviro for the weather. After a surprise short field takeoff, I give my initial thoughts on the plug-in.
I loaded TorqueSim's Cirrus SR22TN (Tornado Alley, baby) and launched from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. As I was only going to Yeager in West Virginia, I probably didn't have to take it all the way up to FL240, but if one's gonna fly the 22TN, one must live a little.
We interrupt the regularly scheduled SR22-fest to bring you an abbreviated account of me earning the I-8 Rating on
PilotEdge.
A light overview of (yet) another Cirrus plane, the TorqueSim SR20. I fly from Grand Coulee Dam to Tri-Cities via the Moses Lake VOR, and It all wraps up with an unnecessarily aggressive park job next to a Skyhawk. Because the hell with high wings 🙂.
Testing the latest build along with some custom scenery. Previously, I flew from Mallorca to Ibiza in the Cirrus SR20, and in X-Plane 11. This is a refly of it in the SR22 and MSFS2020, which basically gives it a full scenic upgrade.
Low clouds almost prevented a hop to Ocean City by way of the coast in the Diamond DA40NG.
Flew TorqueSim's Cirrus SR22TN into known icing conditions to see the visible accretion of ice on the wings and screen, as well as try the other goodies in the v1.1 upgrade.
Flying N68502 from Williamsport down to Dulles to check out TorqueSim's v1.1 SR22 upgrade.
Flying the Cirrus SR22 through a South African lightning storm to get from Lesotho to KwaZulu-Natal.
Flying the Cirrus SR22 through a South African lightning storm to get from Lesotho to KwaZulu-Natal in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
こんにちは, y'all!! Finally got to spend some quality time in Japan taking the Cirrus SR22 from Akeno to Hyakuri/Ibaraki, with a flyby of Mount Fuji.
Taking-off from Ione Municipal Airport in Washington state, I lose a cylinder shortly over Colville. This does not deter me and I press on to Astoria Regional - and a close flyby of Mount Rainier.
Kicking the clouds over Lake Michigan in a hop from Chicago-O'Hare to Detroit Metro in the TorqueSim Cirrus SR22TN (in X-Plane 11)
Kicking the clouds over Lake Michigan in a hop from Chicago-O'Hare to Detroit Metro in the Cirrus SR22 (in MSFS 2020)
A talky and picturesque flight across Washington state in the TBM 930, where I showcase two of the most underwhelming airports in the Pacific Northwest.
Mischief-maker extraordinaire
Tech & pop culture blerd
Defiantly chubby.
