@Museek So tiny!
@Tail yes... they’re 2 mm beads
@Museek Oh wow, I struggled working with 4mm, that's as small as I've worked with. And I broke most of them.
@Tail they can be a little tricky to work with but they’re great for Embellishments! Did you use flexible needles? I prefer those
@Museek I used the little silver threading wire, if that's what you're referring to. I didn't use the right size though, which was the problem. But my 5head tried to brute force it through them anyway.
@Tail have you thought about picking it up again?
@Museek I have, a friend of mine wanted one made but I didn't have the right materials and can't afford more. They offered to buy what I needed but the total came out to about $200 which was a bit too high at the moment.
It did inspire the passion in me, I just can't afford to do it right now. :(
@Museek Well really it was just a mala, but made like mine with high quality beads. A lot of the price comes from one gemstone bead that I top them off with. For the uninspired ones I just used glass beads. I might see if we can figure something out because I really want to make it for him, and to redo my own. My tassel broke off and I figured I may as well re-thread it soon. After I find the right guru bead.
@Tail sounds like it was lovely!
