My dad just died. Heart failure.

He was a lovely, smart and well read man, who I could always ask for help if I needed it. Last Thursday I called him to ask advice about electric wiring. Friday morning he went into the hospital in sepsis and infection. Sunday the antibiotics worked and they got the fever down. Today he chatted to my Mom and sister while they visited, eager to get home. 3 hours later he passed away.
