I've decided to look at this situation as something we need to get out of our system. It's going to be ugly, dangerous and a time of sorrow but we will get though it.
Civilization has had it's messy ages, this is just another one. I can only hope we learn from our experience over the next few years.💙

Exactly. And as those moments wind down, it's time to focus on what's really important. It's not "giving up". I look at it more as repurposing myself.

@Tacitus_Kilgore That is how the EU came to be, after all. Instead of two dictators trying to split Europe up, we have one dictator trying to take what he can without open war with a military cooperative consisting of almost all of Europe. That's absolutely progress over last time.

All of us here did what we had to do and there is no shame or failure in that. However, we need to get tougher. There is nothing wrong in fighting the good fight, even if that means we must do the things that we would not normally do. You can fight with everything you have for a better future. It demands that we do.
