My parents want a Ring doorbell. Actually, I think they just want a video doorbell of some kind. I don't like Ring because of their ethics/privacy issues.

Does anyone have a suggestion for video doorbells that aren't a privacy disaster?

@iamwill1w9 Eufy Security... All footage is stored locally. They sell doorbells, floodlight cameras, indoor, outdoor, all kinds..

@iamwill1w9 I have two of their cams and two window/door sensors. Works great. They started out in cell phone battery packs and expended into cameras and other peripherals. I love them. Never had a problem with the cameras, the clarity of footage, or the longevity of the batteries (6-Mo I believe)
