"Cutting off the power and water is a war crime".

I'm not an expert on the "Laws of War" (although I am somewhat familiar with the Geneva Conventions) and I cannot remember any law saying that a nation under attack must provide free power and water to the attackers.

I'm from the old school in that there are no "laws of war". There are only Rules of Engagement and moral responsibilities and those things don't always work well with each other.

@Render If cutting off water and power is a war crime, just what the hell do these fucktards think beheading children is? SMDH...

In my opinion, Israel is probably leaning towards the school of thought of Patton, Pershing, and the like: Break the will of the opposing population, so they no longer have the appetite for conflict.

@Synical @Render @AnneW i would argue only destroying/targeting utility facilities would be a war crime. Otherwise, shutting off utilities for lack of payment would expose one to liability, which is certainly not the case in the U.S. It’s a b.s. sensationalist argument. In my mind, the only limitation on Israel is the use of nuclear weapons. Other than that, GAME ON. They ordered the ass-whipping, and hopefully said ass-whipping is being doled out with extreme prejudice.
