I have a friend who claims that every conversation with me, if given enough time, will eventually work its way around to a Romancing the Stone reference.

Hero: Got it.
Heroine: Sure.
Me: Because it's going to be a really long road trip, and--
Hero: Totally.
Heroine: Understood.
Me: *Sits down at computer. Opens #wip. Types first line...*
