Fun fact I did not know until today: Bluetooth is named after Harald Bluetooth, former king of Denmark, father of Sweyn Forkbeard, grandfather to King Cnut. The Bluetooth logo is a combination of runes for H and B, for Harald Bluetooth (he had a dead tooth which was blue/grey).

@Strandjunker - in the late 90s I was at the Erickson plant in Sweden. One of the guys there told me "this thing is going to be HUGE. It's going to change everything. It's called Bluetooth."

@Strandjunker it's such a weird name. I'm surprised now that I never looked into it before

@Strandjunker Wow. Thanks for that history! I had no clue.

@Strandjunker that is a cool fact that I first learned, amazingly, from the movie “The Kingsman: The Golden Circle”!

@Strandjunker I worked on bluetooth software for about 5 or 6 years, back in the day.

@Strandjunker

WILD! Bluetooth, runes, & DEAD TOOTH?! This is cool- needs to be a movie.
