Been a while since I've done a sale, so I've built up a lot of inventory. 3 types of seam rippers. Letter openers. Hobby knives. Fountain Pens. Mechanical Pencils. And much more. Plus prints, puzzles, etc.

Sandhill Cranes migration
These 2 arrived early evening, circled the pond a dozen times before landing, then made loud calls to alert other passing cranes they'd found a safe place to spend the night. Flocks then started landing.

New feature on Stonekettle Station: The Week In Pictures
I'll be posting high resolution photos of the images I've captured over the last 7 days. Some of which do not appear on my other social media feeds.
This week, it's the hummingbird migration: https://www.stonekettle.com/2023/09/the-week-in-photography-hummingbird.html
Pollinator hard at work
Feather-legged scoliidae wasp.
I know. I know. But despite their fearsome appearance, they're the good guys. They're non-aggressive (I'm less than six inches from it and it's not bothered by me in any way so long as I'm respectful). They seek out and destroy invasive tree bark beetle larva. Their presence is an indicator of a healthy ecosystem.
Plus, they just look so damn cool in macro.
