Anybody who claims to know who's going to win the election this year is full of crap. We're all going to have to work to get the outcome we want.
@SteveCarll67 538 are idiots. All polls are crap except the votiing ones in Nov. There's a professor that I might listen to... he looks at other leading indicators having nothing to do with polling but really, it doesn't matter what any of them say.
@TrueBloodNet I don't find 538 to be "idiots" (although they're sometimes wrong), nor do I agree that "all polls are crap" (although some polls are crap and even good polls have limited value). My point here is that they're both saying the election will be very close. Do you think it's going to be a landslide (and if so, which one)? Or do we agree with 538 and the polls on at least that point?

It's my scientific opinion that polls are crap. Not just theirs, not just politics. Very few polls are actually scientifically sound. Even ones we scientists often think are sound.
It's way too early to make predictions on outcomes because crap happens, but I've never been in panic mode about Biden being re elected. He's a savvy old war dog.
