Got a letter from my father's older sister. He'd have been 80 this year. She must be close to 90. Hand-written. Amazing that she's so bright and communicative still -- she goes dancing and everything. Pretty fab.
I will write her back later. How lovely.
@Snarkysteff Some very specific ones based on info I knew in part - names of people etc. But also lots about what her parents were like, what was life like growing up (1910-1930s), what school was like, what some family members did for a living, how did spouses meet/court, where people were born, lived, buried etc.
It very much depends on the person I'm interviewing though.
