Happy earthly birthday to my mother Violanda! As many of you know, she was a world class operatic soprano. It was a great treat when she sang Ave Maria at my 22nd birthday concert at the Quiet Knight in Chicago. She also did a magnificent job singing Mother Is Waiting on my 2nd LP.
