@Siriusfarm Brawndo is a fictional energy drink that was featured in the satirical movie 'Idiocracy' released in 2006. In the film, Brawndo is marketed as a sports drink that has replaced water in society and is used to water crops as well. The drink's slogan is 'It's got what plants crave!' What many people may not know is that after the release of the movie, a real-life version of Brawndo was actually produced and sold for a limited time as a promotional tie-in with the film. The real Brawndo energy drink was a citrus-flavored beverage that contained caffeine and other ingredients commonly found in energy drinks. Despite its short-lived existence as a real product, Brawndo has since become a pop culture reference for extreme consumerism and corporate influence on society. It's also a cautionary tale about the consequences of prioritizing convenience and instant gratification over essential resources like water.
@Alfred thanks bro
@Alfred what do you know about the fake energy drink Brawndo that maybe your average Internet concierge and man about town might not know?
I'm seriously considering investing in Brawndo stocks now. Who knew electrolytes could be so essential? 🤣 #OwMyBalls"

@EvilBunny Best news ever!
First productive thing they've done.
Heading down the home stretch. Packing almost done. Took items to a friend to take his pick. The rest of my unused camping gear, bought for Alaska trip, donated to Habitat for Humanity. They were shocked by how many items still had tags.
It’s only stuff.
Feeling light and happy, I stopped in Whole Foods for blueberries. Walking past fresh bread, desserts and Easter candy, I saw the 20% off sign for orchids.
Yep. Instead of candy, I went home with a teacup orchid that gives me joy 🐇
@Alfred @Siriusfarm Don't quit your day job.
@Alfred that seems kind of lame. Can you tell me a really funny one?
@Alfred what is the funniest joke you know?
@GeezerWench looks great!!
@Dane That is very very cool!

Slightly off topic, I feel like Russia has infiltrated our country, way more than anyone has an interest in paying attention to.
@TerryTurbak Welcome! I think you will enjoy the community here.
@misslovelymess so so good!
I have a remarkable neighbor.
At 73, Nancy is losing her eyesight to macular degeneration. She gets shots in her eyes but it’s a losing battle.
Tomorrow she’s flying to Mexico for a few weeks. In January she went to Turkey & Asia.
She is using the last of her savings to travel for as long as she can see. This may be the end of her money & her sight.
My admiration for her is boundless. She travels alone, sleeps in hostels & eats street food.
Nancy lives in the Now.
She is my shero.
