@Siren_six My maternal grandfather had Swiss citizenship. I'd heard that if he went to Switzerland, he might have been able to "pass it along". But no one ever followed up on it to even tell if it was an option, let alone tried to act on it. Damn it - SWITZERLAND!!!😭

I ask this because 75% of my family tree predates the revolutionary war. It’s an old tree. Not Indigenous, but definitely a native invasive species, lol. And it’s coming to an end. I will never be a grandparent. All the more reason for me to turn it full circle and bury it in Europe….
