@Eythen No worries. I think Patrick is saying an 8 year old is at the stage of development where they might still need a more guided approach to homework. With that said, I still think it’s appropriate for an older child to get that too, I think it depends on how familiar they are with the subject matter. I think he’s also trying to give a wider list of examples someone might encounter when young, too. Like for me, I resonate with the 12 year old, the piano and the last one.

I'm not trying to say my dad isn't a good dad it's just sometimes people say things that im like " oh that happens to me all the time" and then its actually something not so good. also im sorry if im bugging you and thank you for responding
