To everyone gearing up for NaNoWriMo

This November marks 3 years since I began learning French on Duolingo.

I mostly kept with it as a way to distract myself from the pandemic, but found I like it lot.

I also recently began relearning Japanese on there too.

I took 2 years of it in college 10+ years ago and I’m surprised at how much I’ve retained.

Next, I wanna learn Spanish and German.

Any other aspiring polyglots on here?

I got a ton of work done on the outline for Cardboard Hearts.

It’s Cloud Atlas x Green Lantern Corps and follows Kamari and Nosaj, two boys who’ve been friends and lovers throughout countless lifetimes who must find enough fragments of their souls to break the curse on them.

#introductions I’m the oldest of 4 kids, and spent a few years in West Germany during the ‘80s when my dad was stationed their as an MP in the Army.

I’ve spent most of my life in the metro Detroit area and I’m a survivor of Stevens-Johnson syndrome (allergic to a ton of antibiotics).

Tomorrow I’ll begin outlining CardboardHeartsWIP, my CLOUD ATLAS x GREEN LANTERN CORP YA novel about 2 Black boys who’ve been in love in various ways and various forms throughout several lifetimes and must fight demons to regain fragments of their souls.
