Facebook must face a class action lawsuit over its use of facial recognition technology, a California judge has ruled.
The lawsuit alleges that Facebook gathered biometric information without users' explicit consent.
It involves the "tag suggestions" technology, which spots users' friends in uploaded photos; the lawsuit says this breaches Illinois state law.

Sometimes I imagine this planet in 1000 years. Humans have somehow managed to work together and we've stopped trying to segregate our species. We've replanted the rainforests and people live in orbiting pods that dock into Town "Ships". There are no wars because religions have evolved away from fear mongering into a loving embrace of humanity and resources are freely available to all. Money is gone.
Then I wake up, and Trump is on TV.
I can't believe this is my country.

Geesh - the GOP is having a twitter meltdown over this Comey book. I can't imagine there really being anything new in the book.
My new shoes! They're pretty good. Men's Wave Rider 21. The sole is stiffer that most I've tried and returned over the last few months. I thought they were pricey but apparently I just haven't been purchasing outside of Amazon for a while. Since it was a small local vendor I succumbed. My arthritis thanks me. End of review.
Anyone going to watch the Comey interview?
