My new African Violet, it has a double row of petals. This is its first bloom after bringing home and repotting. Apparently African Violet plants can live over 50 years if well tended. Check out the African Violet Society web site. https://counter.social/media/7zJOZKbUpB13VK-Uq2M

You know what I find saddest about the age of Trump? We can never go back to how we were before. We can't go back to assuming politicians will do their jobs, regardless of faults. That our government will act in the people's best interest.
Even beyond Trump, when that ratbastard is finally gone, that what-if will always be there. It's like we lost some innocence as a nation. Maybe its a necedsary part of growing up, but doesn't mean it's not sad.

I have a question, excuse my ignorance.
reading about geofencing and social media aggregators = I realize how stupid I am.
Question: Can any ole tech company or interested party pull my social media data and my geographical data at will? More simply, can the grocery store or political function, or local law enforcement access that data whenever they want if they've hired the right tech firm.

Pity lonely James Comey. Republicans aren't joining his fight for decency
James Comey clearly hoped his televised interview on Sunday would be a go-signal for other principled Republicans to break away from Donald Trump and denounce him.
In the interview, Comey declared Trump to be “morally unfit to be president”, and compared him to a mafia don, someone without a scintilla of decency. He provided evidence to support these harsh words.
