A 15-year-old was incarcerated during the coronavirus pandemic after a judge ruled that not completing her schoolwork violated her probation.
PONTIAC, Mich. — Grace, hadn’t broken the law again. The 15-year-old wasn’t in trouble for fighting with her mother or stealing, the issues that had gotten her placed on probation in the first place.
She was incarcerated for violating probation by not completing online coursework when her school in switched to remote learning.

So #Covid19 was supposed to just fade away with the heat. Texas is a freakin furnace and the numbers are really scary. Many people who’re sick with illnesses and disabilities other than COVID who see their Drs via video conference are elderly people who really struggle with that technology. Guess we could try to sign everyone up for CoSo.
