Thanksgiving and Christmas are times where I'm kinda happy to not have any local family connections, as all my friends are posting about arguing with their relatives at holiday get togethers. Seems like everyone has the racist uncle or born again aunt. Nah, I'm good.
@malice I have a (probably obvious) theory that families generally work out how to co-exist in the most harmonious way by maintaining various levels of distances (geographically and socially) - Christmas temporarily stuffs that up!!!!! ๐ณ๐๐
