Why does this guy still have a job?
A stunning level of lies and betrayal of trust.
Special Counsel Jack Smith sent a letter to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thanksgiving, pointing out the lies in Donald Trumpโs attorneys' latest filing. Thatโs right, the Special Counsel was working on Thanksgiving.
Imagine a world without Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg, the Waltons, the Kochs... What an impossible thought! What a 'hellscape' we'd live in without them! Surely they deserve all of their billions and more! Why not auction off your babies and send them the proceeds, like a good peasant?
Or, just maybe, if they were to retire into obscurity, nobody would miss them or even remember their names.
If every company president, chair of the board, CEO, or indeed whole top management teams were to disappear tomorrow, the next day everything would go on as normal. Some extra meetings might have to be held to redistribute responsibilities, but in many cases nobody would even notice the difference.
Whereas if every working person at the bottom of the pay scale were to disappear tomorrow, the entire world would stop: industries would crash, people would starve.
We don't need them. They need us.

I keep seeing everybody all over Twitter argue about whoโs to blame for the GOPโs demise. Is it Trump or other Republicans.
The fact of the matter is, the problem, is ignorant, fucking white people who voted for these assholes & against their own best interests

- pass the voting rights act into law
- secure Medicare / Social Security

It's a strange notion of democracy to think that an institution is democratic when it deliberately gives more power and influence to the wealthiest and best able to pay.
My idea of democracy is one where each person has an equal voice *regardless* of their ability to pay.
