I'm reading a Holmes vs. Chtulhu trilogy by Lois Gersh. She really leans into the horror side of the genre. I was thinking of giving up after the first gross-out scene, but I kept with it and the Lovecraft stuff was awesome. The Holmes stuff is fun but blah blah he's smart, we get it.* The Lovecraft stuff is so WEIRD. Quite fun!
*Nothing again Holmes, he's terrific as always, but I don't know the Chtulhu stuff as well so I find it more interesting. Fhtagn!
