@ecksmc they had one country fighting and killing each other, it was horrific and your mind was to say it’s fiction but they laid it all out. I thought about it because I was reading an article about Apple asking before using other companies data to train its AI. Facebook was weird in its statement.

Then I read about the investigation into social media and damage to our kids.

Then Trump saying he would destroy Meta and Mark would be in Jail.

All seemed to linked together

@rpardee I wondered about that. Facebook/Meta has been very protective of how they obtained their data to train their AI model. Comments have been made that they used scraping of their data including Cambridge Analytics copy they had starting in 2007 I think. This could be all false because I’m making assumptions based on things I read in the past but can’t actually prove it.

Has anyone else watched the Netflix documentary “The Great Hack”? It’s about Cambridge Analytics and how they played in social media for elections around the world up to 2016. One claim was made that Trump hired them away from Cruz helping him using Facebook. They had legal action against them in Great Britain election before ours. Part of the things that came out of that trial was the disbanded the company. However Facebook has never provided evidence that they completely destroyed their copy.

@fugitive247 I was thinking of it more statistically and how it was different from other states. I’m very sorry I didn’t understand or think that the article was more personal to you in your environment. Yes I agree it could be a huge life changing support system for someone in the situation you described.

@TheNewsOwl Did you know the deadliest most successful pirate in history was a woman. China has a bloody history of conquering the seas around them, not just today’s Navy and now Coast Guard.

@DavidSalo it’s the mindset that someone has to lose, be at the bottom. Giving others a chance means they might end up doing better than the ones in charge now. No understanding that everyone might end up doing better and pushing others down doesn’t make you the winner.

@thedisasterautist And lose days of sleep until you know it’s gone, have a good idea of what it was and do crazy things at drastic lengths to lower the chance it will come back. I’m quarky but I’m an Aspie too!

@thedisasterautist @th3j35t3r I have a standing donation every month. I might go months between feeling social, but it’s here when I need it the most. It’s been designed for our personal safety and they keep watch over the things I don’t even know exist. That is worth more than I give just knowing that.
