I normally do not buy kitchen gadgets that only do one specialized thing.

But I got one of those gizmos that spiral-cuts, peels, and cores apples all in one step, just to make apple pie.

And some of the apples today are so sweet and/or tart that you can make an apple pie without even adding sugar!

I think, even though my pie-loves are many, apple pies are my favorite.

I suppose that is in character... ; )
