@Susandoyle I use SD cards to backup important documents and photos just so I can use the lock switch so if I need to restore anything on a system I’m scared might be compromised it won’t be able to change anything on my card. I did DVDs for a long time but they are a hassle because they can’t hold large amounts of data. The tape on the tape made me laugh.
