I've got a question that I've been wondering about for years. Why do people use things like PayPal instead of just using a credit card?

@BillieBun I first used it on eBay I believe and the seller was only able to get PayPal at the time. It also felt like it was safer than using your card everywhere online because it was very new. Now I haven’t used PayPal for at least 10 years. They were horrible dealing with if anything went wrong.
@SatuUnelmia I remember trying to sign up for Paypal years ago and somehow it wouldn't work. It was so long ago that I don't remember what happened. But I'm seeing more Paypal-like pay methods to pay for things.
