@Samanthabwriter Even if it was a side effect, be clear that you were still sick. It was real and it happened.
I get sick from whatever treatments all the time. I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. 💜
@misslovelymess Thanks. Oh yes, I was definitely sick. But I was actually relieved to find out it was a side effect as opposed to a new condition or something scarier. Now I just need a little time for my body to finish purging the poison, and to decide if it's time to get a new doctor.
@Samanthabwriter I get sick from everything, my body is highly med sensitive. Do you feel better from your original ailment? If you are like me it’s probably not your doctor’s fault. I just accept I’m going to be sick on antibiotics, anti rheumy drugs, prednisone, etc. etc.
@misslovelymess I guess that the crux of why I'm so crochety about it. I didn't feel bad in the first place! I haven't been able to lose any weight through the usual means, and even though my obesity isn't causing any other health problems (no high blood pressure or plaque buildup in my heart, for example or limits on mobility), she wanted me to try this drug.
@misslovelymess it was a medication that is normally prescribed for diabetes. Even though I don’t have diabetes. It’s called Ozempic.
@misslovelymess Yes, it took all weekend. But now I’m down to some mild acid reflux as far as complaints. I can deal with that.
@Samanthabwriter I know they sometimes prescribe Metformin for off label uses other than diabetes, not sure if it’s a similar med. But if that was a mistake, I’d definitely find a new doctor. Are you feeling better?
