I've been a teacher for 27 years. Today, I told my students that I'm leaving the profession 10 days from now. Some of them took it so hard!
It's not about them, of course. The kids are why I stayed. The adults are the problem. I wonder what it'll be like in my new job, in the private sector, where I hear exploitation of the worker is handled differently.
