Does anyone have experience with how easy or difficult it is to apply for residency in other countries (specific countries)?
I know it is fairly difficult to impossible for some places people like to fantasize about moving.

@S_r_stone I did after I moved to Norway with my Norwegian husband because my son wanted to join me. He was 19 or 20 at the time. He's been over 3 times for 2 months at a time to visit me. I also found him work on a sheep farm through WWOOF but he had found a job by then.

@S_r_stone I still belong to the 2 groups I mentioned above. The International org. organizes social activities, sometimes online. It's a great way to meet new expats and answer any questions they may have.
