Old girl Cassie is on her last legs.

14 (or 15) but she has had liver cancer for about a year. She still goes on squirrel patrol but is hardly eating.
@S_r_stone Beautiful Cassie you are a good dog and you can rest . Watching an aging pet is hard.
@JPSCHWEIZER63 Wife is pushing she doesn't want to watch her slowly starve herself. And we have tried broth and different foods he vet suggested to get interest without success.
She still reacts to hearing the rattle of treats, but struggles to eat anything

Even when we got her to eat things, she was throwing them back up.
We had been feeding her four times a day in smaller meals because even when she was eating, normal meals couldn't stay down.
We think the tumors were crowding her stomach. And she had them on her lungs as well.
Honestly, she lasted a year since being diagnosed, about nine months longer than we expected.

@S_r_stone Can she drink water? Because if not it won't be long for organ failure to take her. Be kind to yourselves this is hard to do .
