@UmbaSaffire I have never taken that, but I've had covid twice. If you're vaccinated, symptoms are likely to be very mild.

I was vaccinated and it was hell, worse than the flu.

You can't generalize any one person's experience. Some were completely asymptomatic even with the first strain and unvaccinated Others were hospitalized and died.

Vaccines seem to protect from the worst outcomes, but they are always at least one strain behind with vax. So they aren't as protective as we'd like.

@DavidKMresists @UmbaSaffire I couldn't take Paxlovid because of a drug interaction with another prescription. Wife took it and her symptoms ran their course in about three days.

Mine lasted over a week and included the worst sore throat ever experienced.

My vax reaction has varied. Some, just a sore arm, the latest felt like a mild flu the following day. Second shot was worst, flu symptoms for two days - chills, aches. I figure Covid unprotected would be worse for me though.
