Anyone else watching/watched Extraordinary on Hulu?
Really weird and unique. Everyone gets a superpower at 18, but most are weird powers. The central character is the only one she knows who is a " late bloomer" at 25 with no powers.
The story reminds me a bit of A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony, except there it was magic everywhere except Bink. Except this series is played more for comedy.

@S_r_stone I liked A Spell for Chameleon and the other couple of original Xanth novels, before they became nothing but pun-ishment.

I swear he started just phoning it in after a while, just churning out crap.
@S_r_stone When he was younger and idealistic, Mr. Anthony got stuck in some unfortunate contracts with some publishers.
Xanth was supposed to be three books, and he intended to write one more, but they sold like hotcakes - and it looks like the dumber they got, the more they sold.
