I have a close acquaintance who works for the US federal government. They had a 1-on-1 with their supervisor today. The supervisor did not know there was a government continuing resolution expiring on 12/20.
The supervisor, a GS-15 pulling in ~~ $130K salary / yr, also said, "Hey, all branches of government are now run by the GOP. They'll fix this. No worries"
Not until 2025, idiot.
I just want to dope slap my forehead at this point. Doing so would be more productive.
@SSNBubblehead *facepalm* The fact the supervisor was blind about there being a CR to begin with makes me think he's one of those supervisors in name only and has one foot out the door towards retirement; he only took the position to bump up his pension pay.
